The Education Committee strives to enhance the business potential and competitive advantage of AAIA members through its support of aftermarket education events and programs. It also oversees the growth and administration of scholarship funds that benefit students preparing for aftermarket careers. In this way, the committee helps to ensure a qualified future labor pool and promote business excellence in the automotive aftermarket.
Committee and Liaison
Committees meet two times a year for association planning purposes. Opportunities exist to become involved in the leadership of the association through serving as volunteers on committees. Each year committee rosters are reviewed and candidates are nominated. Individuals interested in serving on an AAIA committee must send a letter of interest and a bio to AAIA Chair, c/o Dedra Selby at dedra.selby@aftermarket.org.
